No amount of quality air purification will increase productivity if your air purifiers make noise. aeris air purifiers work at a whisper quiet level, allowing your employees to do the work while your purifiers do theirs.
Unlike other air purifiers on the market, aeris air purifiers don’t leak. Due to their completely closed systems, once a dangerous pollutant is captured there’s no chance it gets out.
Use the aeris app to get full insight and control over your indoor air quality from anywhere in the world.

Learn moreMost people catch COVID-19 by inhaling it from shared air, and infectious particles often linger for hours in the air of indoor spaces. Simple and relatively low cost air purifiers with HEPA filters have been shown to clear potentially infectious aerosols quickly and effectively.
HEPA air purifiers work by mechanical filtration — they force air through a fine mesh which traps particles. Off-the-shelf air purifiers with HEPA filters can remove more than 99.95% of all particle sizes down to 0.30-1.0 microns (one millionth of a metre).
This means they can help filter airborne viruses, bacteria, and tiny particles known as “particulate matter” from bushfire or pollen. They can’t completely eliminate COVID-19 transmission, but they can help reduce the risk especially when used with other best practices like wearing masks and other public health measures.
During a pandemic of an airborne disease like COVID-19, nearly all unvaccinated individuals will eventually be infected. Most children in Australia are currently unvaccinated. If they are not protected, 1-3% of unvaccinated Australian children may become hospitalised with COVID-19, and more may suffer from ongoing symptoms lasting for a year or more. Paediatric wards, hospitals and health systems may become overwhelmed. School closures and educational disruption are likely.
Even if ventilation in a school already meets current building standards, additional air filtration from a portable device can help reduce the potential for COVID-19 transmission. Portable HEPA air filters are easy to use and HEPA filtration is a proven technology. A quiet unit (or combination of smaller units) can increase the number of air changes by at least 3 to 5 times in an 75m2 classroom, and are less taxing on electrical systems than a portable air conditioner. Increasing the number of air changes per hour may substantially reduce aerosol transmission risks.
HEPA filtration traps aerosols from the air passing through it. Due to the high demand for true HEPA, there are a number of inferior products entering the market. These should be avoided. They include products that include filters called ‘HEPA like’ or use electrostatic precipitators or ion generation in addition to a filter. These should not be used as the addition of free radicals, or ozone etc. can aggravate respiratory conditions. Further, they provide no additional benefit to a HEPA filter.
Generally, it is recommended that a filtration unit achieves 3-4 air changes per hour in a given space.
The Aeris 3-in-1 has an airflow of 660m3 per hour which means it will provide up to four air changes per hour based on a room capacity of 170m3 (70m2, 2.4m ceiling)
The smaller Aair Lite offers up to 300m3 per hour and four air changes per hour in a room capacity of 84m3 (35m2, 2.4m ceiling)
The Aeris 3-in-1 has an average decibel rating of 42dB which is acceptable in a classroom setting. It is important to check specifications across the various brands as some domestic brands tend to be very noisy.
Aeris HEPA filters only require replacing every 12 months which means a low ongoing cost and minimal hassle with the changeover.
End users can easily replace the filters and no specialist technical support is required.
Domestic style units generally recommend a 6 month changeover.
A non-toxic Zinc-Pyrithion treatment on all our filters kills trapped viruses and bacteria. This means filters can be changed safely with no risk of contamination to the user.
Yes, HEPA filters should have certification as a true HEPA filter from an accredited lab.
Aeris units have been further tested by the University of Melbourne and recommended by the Clean Air Schools program.
Test reports are available online or on request.
